I’m thinking that there should be six people needed to complete the reptile hands comfortably.
The adorable beaver is one of my favorites, everybody who sees him for the first time are funny to watch when they turn his cute body around and see a human face. Although I ended up making him much more creepy than I expected, but since a part of the project is to creep people out, I chose to leave his face as it was.
My Pouting Pig is finished, he is as adorable as ever. I chose to make him a bright pink in contrast to the others because unlike the others, he is the only one with a negative expression which makes his color both ironic and humorous. I decided to make his face much more pale than the rest to drive home how old he is.
My Happy Horse has been finished. Unfortunately though, he took a tumble before I painted him and I had to glue him back together. Because of this I had to change my plans on how I was going to paint him and took a more unique rout. I decided to paint him in a deep mahogany red and tried to make the paint strokes appear as though he were made of wood. I also noticed that I could use the cracks in his base to seep off-white into the cracks and paint the rest black to give off the appearance of a stone. Despite a little bit of trouble, he turned out well.
